New this year, Can Do Canines is seeking your original dog video for our Dog Video Festival, which will debut at the Can Do Woofaroo.

Does your dog have an amazing skill? How about a quirky habit? Maybe your dog has a story to tell? Funny, heartwarming or anywhere in between—we want to see it. Click here to submit your dog video. After the one-mile fundraising walk, join us for all the festivities including ...
  • Assistance Dog Demonstrations—Watch Can Do Canines dogs and other exceptional pooches work their magic.
  • Dog-centric Exhibitor Booths—Browse, shop or play games with your dog.
  • Tours of the Can Do Canines Facility—Check out the home base of where our assistance dogs learn how to do skills like open up drawers and turn on a light switch.
  • Marketplace to purchase Can Do Canines merchandise.
  • Free Food for those who raise $25 or more!

DOGGIE COSTUME CONTEST

For extra fun, enter your dog in the Doggie Costume Contest, held on stage in the afternoon. Costumes can be creative, humorous or just plain cute. Winning dogs will receive some great prizes. Your dog can wear the costume during the walk or just get dressed for the contest ... you choose! Please make sure costumes are safe, comfortable and cool enough for a September day.

Grand prize: All participants who raise $125 or more are eligible for the grand prize drawing—a 
7-night stay in an Orlando, Florida villa! Date restrictions apply.

: The more you fundraise, the more fun prizes you’re eligible for!
  • $50—Can Do Canines Car Magnet
  • $125—Can Do Woofaroo T shirt
  • $500—Red duffel/travel bag
  • Top 10 Individual Fundraisers—Prizes willbe awarded on stage day of event. Winners pick their prize
  • Top Fundraising Team—$300 sponsored Team Happy Hour at The Green Mill in Shoreview.

Event Check-in 

Pre-registration is available before Saturday, September 17.
Beat the rush and register early! We are offering early check-in to turn in your contributions and collect your prizes on the following days. Visit us at 9440 Science Center Drive in New Hope, MN:

  • Wednesday, September 14 -- 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 15 -- 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday, September 16 -- 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 
Day-of-event check-in: At registration tables, 10 – 11 a.m.

Virtual walkers

If you cannot participate in person at the Woofaroo, you can still join in helping Can Do Canines by fundraising through our Virtual Walker program.

Virtual Walkers participate in fundraising contests, earn prizes, and become top fundraisers - all from the comfort of your own home! Get a group together and walk in your own town. If you're at work, wear a sticker that says “I’m a virtual walker for the Can Do Canines Woofaroo” and collect funds from your co-workers. Virtual walk today!
